What a sad way to end a great band, they should of pushed on to a full album, the songs would of been brilliant, i thought they were brilliant in their early days , I remember them well, not too late to make that brilliant comeback album.

In an era of really bad music and the resulting void in culture for the younger ones, this was like a ghostly reminder of a time much better.

All the four songs in the EP are amazing. Their songwriting skills and charm were still as good as ever. A shame it didn't last, but it least they left this reminder of what a great and underrated band they were.

Some reunions are never meant to be. Those who grew up in this era, especially those who immersed completely in certain sub genres like punk or this scene or watevs are the nostalgic counterpoint to bands attempting to gather new fans. Sometimes the era is unable to be re-created. Its hard to look back on without burning a hole in your ♥. Lush epitomised this musucal era inbthis scene, sure people love mbv or ct's - but pixies lush etc just take you back to an unattainable memory... wed be in our 40s atleast by now and pink hair, substances parties that end up as ledgends, gigs aplenty ... it all ends sadly.... should life get in the way? NO, but when your 48 or watevs, gettin home at 4am still peakin , with ten friends = nah! I dunno- maybe i just miss my old life

I love Lush (have seen them live in 1994 an 1996) but a 'reunion' with a new drummer was just wrong in my eyes . They could have picked another bandname, just like New Order did in 1980

Probably, early 90's Lush & Ride toured together in the States quite often. Dallas here and I saw Lush/Ride at least 3 times down in Deep Ellum. Actually got to hang out with Miki in 1992 at Lollapalooza. We hung out together near the stage watching The Jesus & Mary Chain's set. I was wearing my Lush T-shirt... the logo from Gala and she giggled and hugged my neck. Great memories.
